Variable temperature inserts with temperature range 1.5 to 300K
Variable temperature inserts(VTI) are continuous flow cryostats used in bath cryostats to adjust the temperature of a sample from 1.5K to 300K. The innert part of the insert are vacuum insulated from the liquid helium.
These inserts are compatible with all our standard magnet systems and are therefore ideal for measurements requiring a combined low temperature and magnetic field environments.
A typical application is magneto-transport measurements.
Special systems
Standard VTIs will fit any system where the magnet has a bore of 52mm or greater. If larger bore magnets are used these can be fitted with larger VTIs such as VTI 64/42, 76/56 and 120/90, providing access for large samples.
